Summer days
After a long and cold winter – those first few summer days really feel magical.
Blow up pool sessions , ice cream eating and a late afternoon sandpit play is about all we did today. ( no-one in our house cares much for footy).
So happy we got it all ready in time. The backyard was a mud pit until about 3 weeks ago after our kitchen extension.

Him: Boxes never get old when your are kid. (or a cat). You had a rough week – gashing your eyebrow open at kinder. I guess this is only the start of boyhood!
Her: ahem -where did my baby go ? Ready for daycare – here we go!

Him: Picking lilacs in the garden (to this day they remind me of my childhood home in Germany -the reason I’ve planted them years ago)
